They are very noticeably different, one is a small 10-24 Threaded knob mostly found on the Helix sonar units 7\", 8\", 9\" some 10\" and 12\"units. on the Solix units you may have the small 10-24 threaded knobs, this is where it can change to the larger 1\/4 -20 threaded Knobs, there is a seeable difference.
